I bought these about a year ago, they were uncomfortable at the time pinching just under the ankle. I thought they would break in but a year later they are still so uncomfortable I no longer wear them. The problem appears to be right at the back where the cuff of the shoe leans in and rubs against the heel just below the ankle. I think there must be a plastic or some such former inside the rear of the shoe which causes the problem.
