Just came back from Chamonix for 4 days and I took these as my only footwear for walking around town in. These are not waterproof and even in snow will you will get wet toes. As these were £20 I had already given them a spray with shoe waterproofer but I mainly concentrated on the upper fabric bit. The bottom is meant to be one piece of rubber so I dont know how my toes have got so wet and I cant find a rip/hole. By the end of the trip the insoles where permanently damp.
