These are good snow type boots but they can feel slightly cumbersome. There is not great flexibility in the sole. I would not skip a long in these. Rather, I would kind of trundle along through cold weather conditions. I only wear when it is very cold and then they feel nice and quite comfortable. I do recommend as they are good value for this type of boot. I did get asked by a stranger where I bought my boots so they are obviously nice.
