I like the shoes a lot, but either poorly made or poor design. Part of the sole at the toe is sort of molded into (not glued) to the mesh-like uppers. Sort of like they dipped the mesh into the rubber. This seems to create weak spots where they meet. In less than a month of use playing volleyball both shoes are tearing or ripping apart at about the same spots. What I circled in the pic is a tear and what youre seeing is the inside shoe material.
