They could not be worn long before they failed... disappointingly, the problem was immediately - if someone had taken the time to check... asked for a refund after sending the second pair straight back. My order arrived earlier than expected, and they look exactly as advertised except for the faux fur lining which is a little bit more on the beige side than grey, which would have been a bit nicer and more complimentary to the boot itself. They are soft and warm inside, and comfortable to walk in. Just be prepared - they squeak a lot during the first few wears while they are softening up, after that they are great. I may get another pair!
