I am now trying to decide if these are fake. They have literally fallen apart after one year of wearing them. I bought them in Sept 2019. This morning I discovered the sole of the right foot has torn and lifted up! I have had to glue them. the sole is actually tearing and coming apart all around the top of the shoe. I read that Birkenstocks should last 20 years and this has made a whole year. I have made a complaint but I am well out of the return or refund stage so I am probably going to get nowhere
